Update on Referrals
I want to take this time to thank everyone for their interest and support of my GutPsych practice. As I am looking to retire in 2025, I am cutting back my hours. Moving forward, I will only be taking referrals direct from gastroenterologists with active or new patients. If you or a patient have seen a gastroenterologist recently, who recommends psychological therapies, I am happy to accept the referral. If your gastroenterologist recommends you obtain a MHCP or TCA from your GP, I will accept the GP referral. Alternatively, you can access my services via private health insurance. Unfortunately, as of now, I will no longer be able to accept self-referrals or referrals from GP’s (other than via the gastroenterologist).
If you wish to make an enquiry, or are unsure about your referral status, please proceed to the Appointment / Enquiry form.
I am sorry that me stepping back, leaves a significant gap in the market, in this area of psychogastroenterology.
Thank you again for your support over the years!
Cathy Martin
